FrankAdvice supported Local Government New Zealand (LGNZ) to develop this Localism Guide to assist councils, no matter where they are on their journey towards localism. The Guide sets out practical steps to implement localist approaches, with a comprehensive menu of 17 different tools, from which councils can choose an approach that suits them, their community or their specific situation. The Guide explains why and how to use or adapt each tool, and is brought to life by New Zealand and international case studies.
