SIA's Beginners' Guide to the IDI

The Integrated Data Infrastructure (IDI) is a large research database curated by Stats NZ, containing matched, de-identified data on people and households, and collected by government and NGOs. This guide, produced by the Social Investment Agency (SIA), explains how to access and use the IDI for social investment analysis. The IDI can be used to give a picture of people’s journeys over time to learn what works, for whom, and at what cost.
