Visuals in policy making: ‘See what I’m saying’, from Evidence-based policy making in the social sciences
Visual methods of presenting information can be a useful addition to the policy professional’s toolkit, and may lead to better engagement in the policy process. There are three broad steps for using visual methods in policy: observation and data collection; data analysis and interpretation; and writing and reporting.
